We are currently recruiting for the fillowing roles:
Typical duties of a Caregiver include companionship, personal care, meal preparation, shopping, medication assistance, and light housekeeping As a Caregiver, you will be expected to work with clients rather than for them.
Job Purpose
To provide a flexible home care support service to older persons, adults, young people, and children with disabilities. The aim is to support and enable the clients to live with respect and dignity within their own community.
Minimum Education & Skills required
A relevant QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification or equivalent is desirable
On-the-job QQI Level 5 training provided (care skills and care of the older person)
Experience of working with the older person and/or with people with disabilities.
Experience in the provision of home care services.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- To provide a Home Care support service to the older person and/or to adults, young people and children with disabilities
- The purpose of the role is to support and enable clients to live with respect and dignity within their own home and community
- To enhance the quality of life for the clients and facilitate them to maintain and promote their independence within their home environment and within their community.
- To ensure appropriate and timely reporting in any changes to an individual’s health and well-being, following the agreed protocol and code of conduct.
- Assist with household chores for clients, such as laundry, dishes, changing sheets, and other basic cleaning.
Additional requirements
- Reporting to the Home Care Manager
- Participate in LHC training programmed & completed QQI level 5 Fetac modules:
- Care skills and care of the older person within the induction period.
- Own transportation required
- Full Clean Driving License
- Flexible with regard to working hours in order to meet the operational needs of the service

Reception duties such as welcoming visitors or showing customers around. Managing the diary of management staff. Arranging and supporting meetings, including preparing agendas and writing minutes.
Knowledge of Homecare or health-related Sector
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- ou’ll provide an efficient and confidential administration service for LHC.
- You’ll be the first point of contact for clients and relatives and other stakeholders, so you’ll offer friendly, welcoming, and professional support.
- You’ll ensure our computer systems are maintained via Microsoft Office.
- You’ll ensure all PPE’s are well stored accordingly.
- You’ll support meetings, making sure they run smoothly and that minutes are kept.
- You’ll deal with any queries efficiently.
- You’ll develop and maintain good filing systems.
- You’ll answer and follow up on enquiries about our services that we provide.
- You’ll liaise with relatives.
- You’ll keep accurate records of service users
- You’ll deal with mail, scanning, stationery, photocopying, and any other office tasks.
